At the ADA–FDI 2019 World Dental Congress, held in San Francisco between 4–8 September 2019, scientific presentations evaluated by the scientific committee within the scope of the scientific program were assessed in four different categories. In the Oral Surgery and Pathology category, Türker Yücesoy from the Department of Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery, Faculty of Dentistry, Bezmialem Vakıf Üniversitesi, won first place with his study entitled “The Efficiency of Ozone Therapy & Low-Level Laser Therapy in Rat Facial Nerve Injury.”
The certificate was presented to him by American Dental Association (ADA) Scientific Committee Chairman Dr. Roger Macias and FDI World Dental Federation Scientific Committee Jury Chair Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hande Şar Sancaklı.
In the other categories, studies presented from the United States in Digital Dentistry, Russia in Periodontology, and Germany in Restorative Dentistry were awarded first prizes.
